Description Up for sale is an extremely rare Swiss Made A. Sandoz 14k Yellow Gold Heavy Minute Repeating Hunter Pocket Watch c. 1905 created for the Russian Market. The Church of England presented this pocket watch to Rev. W. Capel Young as a sign of their affection and esteem. Case: Signed, round, 14k yellow gold hunter case no. 54964 measures 57mm, weighs approx. 139g, and features an engine turned case with engraved dragon with the motto “Fortitudine et Prudentia”, 14k cuvette, latch to set time on bezel by 4 o’clock, and minute repeating slide to the band. Dial: Signed, white enamel dial with radial Roman numeral hour markers, spade and whip hands, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and outer minute track.
